Bush Administration Subpoenas Michael Moore

For the filming of his documentary SiCKO, Michael Moore took sick 9/11 workers to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to help them obtain free medical care. “The (rescue workers) just want medical attention!” Moore shouts into a loudspeaker in the movie, in a futile attempt to win over the security guards. “The same kind Al Qaeda is getting!” In May, Moore announced that the Treasury Department launched an investigation into his trip, examining “whether he had violated restrictions on travel to Cuba.”

They give suspected terrorist free health care, but people that helped clean up after the terrorist can't get treated. What sick messed up country we live in. I can't believe 28% of American still support Bush. Like a bunch of sheep being taken to the slaughter house. These are probably the same people that think wrestling is a real sport, "Everybody Loves Raymond" is good TV, Fox News is fair and balanced, and Matt Kelty will be a good mayor for Fort Wayne.

WAKE UP!!!! Our health care system sucks, the way we treat "heroes" civilian or people that serve in the military is a damn disgrace. What makes me so damn sick is Bush and Republicans love to let us know they are "Christians". Bush won't sign a bill to give children health care!!! If that is what it takes to be a "christian" count me out. WWJD? You think Jesus would deny health care to a child? would he deny health care to a wounded soldier, even if he didn't believe in the actual war?

This hero wasn't just killed by friendly fire, he was just plain murdered by our own army. This is from the AP story

The medical examiners' suspicions were outlined in 2,300 pages of testimony released to the AP this week by the Defense Department in response to a Freedom of Information Act request.

Among other information contained in the documents:

_ In his last words moments before he was killed, Tillman snapped at a panicky comrade under fire to shut up and stop "sniveling."

_ Army attorneys sent each other congratulatory e-mails for keeping criminal investigators at bay as the Army conducted an internal friendly-fire investigation that resulted in administrative, or non-criminal, punishments.

_ The three-star general who kept the truth about Tillman's death from his family and the public told investigators some 70 times that he had a bad memory and couldn't recall details of his actions.

_ No evidence at all of enemy fire was found at the scene - no one was hit by enemy fire, nor was any government equipment struck.

Then they just lied to his family. What kind of government does that to it's own citizens? Read a book called "1984" and you might get a idea. How can 28% of Americans sleep at night know this is the kind of crap Bush is doing. I'm sure they tuck themselves with thier holy bible under the pillow and sleep well know that "dear leader" is watching over them.
