You don't say?

"Clearly putting a 'MISSION ACCOMPLISHED' on a aircraft carrier was a mistake. It sent the wrong message. We were trying to say something differently. But nevertheless it conveyed a different message."
-- George W. Bush

I just wonder if Bush will go off quietly into the night, or will he keep coming back to haunt us at every opportunity. I doubt we will see George try to bring peace to middle east or fight global warming though.

Now here is a bail-out that get's my full support!

Larry Flynt Asks For $5B Porn Bailout : NPR: "The Adult Video Network will hand out long-awaited awards at its Adult Entertainment Expo Thursday in Las Vegas. But even a popular trade show can't hide the fact that adult entertainment is slumping. Profits are down for porn, prompting industry mogul Larry Flynt to ask Congress for a $5 billion bailout."

Here is a great year in review video.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to everyone. I hope this year will be better then our last. I think we are all happy to see the changing of the guard in Washington coming in a few weeks. I really hope all the promises that have been made are kept. I know a lot of us have really got our hopes up with all the fancy campaign speeches that have been made. Hopefully we aren't expecting too much and things will get better. The economy really needs some attention, more then just some token bailouts to big corporations. I hope we can all pull together and get through the rought times ahead and come out of this next year better then we ended the last.
