All I can say is "Wow". I just returned from seeing the movie Children of Men. It really is a great movie. It's got Clive Owen, Julianne Moore, and Michael Caine as the stars, they do some great acting.

The movie is very well made, It's not like your watching a Hollywood blockbuster action movie This movie is not a over the top action movie. The action sneaks up on you quite a bit, and it's more like watching the 6:00 news. Even the way the camera follow the characters, it's like the camera man is ducking the shots and explosions right along with the character. At one point blood and mud is on the camera lens and stays on there for a while. I don't want to give away the movie, but Owen is pretty much just some plain old joe that is thrown into events because he works in the goverment and can get some paperwork needed to travel. He ends up thrown into helping the worlds only pregnent women get to a organization of doctors and scientist that they hope can keep her safe and solve the infertility problem.

I highly recomend seeing this movie. Especially in a theater were you really get the great sound experiance. It's a real eye opener and makes you think a lot about the future and society.
